CNC Turning
Our state-of-the-art turning department currently houses multiple CNC lathes, from a 2-axis Methods 50B chucker machine to our newest Hardinge Talent 51 as well as a Quest 51 six-axis, sub-spindle machine with live tooling, C-axis, polygon turning, and Y-axis. By utilizing multiple axis machining centers with sub-spindles, our turning department has the capability of producing complex parts complete in one operation.
At Hunter Machine, we also have a Hardinge Cobra 42 with 4 foot bar loader, Harding Cobra 51 with LNS Quick 6 bar loader, and Hardinge Conquest T42 with Live tooling and 12 foot bar feeder. With automatic bar feeder/loaders on four of our
CNC lathes, Hunter Machine’s turning department is readily equipped for all of your production machining run needs. Using bar loaders gives us the capability of running machines 24/7 without the need to stop the machine to load a new bar of material resulting in a more competitive part price for you.
